The Brookline Community Foundation (BCF) is committed to fostering inclusivity and equity in the Brookline community. BCF is dedicated to supporting a vibrant and diverse cultural ecosystem and promoting community well-being through transformative investments in organizations and community efforts.
To support this vision, BCF is proud to introduce our new Culturally Immersive Event Sponsorships. These sponsorships are designed to support creating opportunities to promote diversity and maintain a vibrant and welcoming community.
Culturally Immersive Event Sponsorships are focused on increasing opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) led and BIPOC-serving community events that seek to celebrate cultural diversity and foster a more inclusive Brookline for all residents. With a maximum grant amount of $5,000, we invite event funding requests via email.
All applications must be completed and submitted through our online grant application system here. You can also download this form to see the sponsorship questions prior to submitting a request.
BCF prioritizes organizations and groups working to advance equity, including those led by BIPOC individuals or efforts focused on uplifting vulnerable and marginalized populations. The criteria for BIPOC-led organizations are flexible, acknowledging that leadership, staff, or board members identifying as BIPOC contribute to the organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
We welcome a wide range of applicants and encourage sharing this opportunity with diverse networks so that together, we can continue building a stronger, more inclusive, and interconnected Brookline community.
