Veronika (Nika) Trufanova has nearly 20 years of fundraising experience in arts and culture and greenspace nonprofit organizations, including development operations, membership, annual fund, institutional giving, and major and capital campaign gifts. She currently serves as Interim Director of Development at the Friends of the Public Garden, an organization committed to renewing, caring, and advocating for the Boston Common, Public Garden, and Commonwealth Avenue Mall. Nika previously served as Director of Development and External Relations at the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and held various fundraising roles at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and the Harvard Art Museums. She and her husband have resided in Brookline since 2017 and, together with their two children, enjoy Brookline’s many parks and splash pads and exploring indoor and outdoor destinations in the Boston area and beyond.
