Marcia is a seasoned marketing, communications and fundraising professional with over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Working for both large and small organizations, Marcia has brought her strategic insight, strong writing and interpersonal skills to enhance the visibility and fundraising success of the nonprofits for which she’s worked. Marcia is now involved in a number of nonprofit activities. She volunteers for the Cummings Foundation, reviewing grant proposals, conducting site visits and providing coaching assistance to small nonprofits. She is also active in SOAR Management Consulting, Inc., which offers pro bono consulting to nonprofits in Greater Boston. Marcia is a longtime Brookline resident. Her adult son went to Brookline public schools from kindergarten through high school. Marcia is looking forward to becoming more involved in community activities through the Brookline Community Foundation.
