As BCF’s Director of Finance, Laura (she/her/hers) brings a deep commitment to operational excellence and a sharp sense of humor to her work with BCF. She joined BCF in 2018 as the Director of Finance and leads managing our finances, guiding investments, and ensuring we operate as transparently as possible. Prior to joining our team, Laura was the Chief Financial Officer at Catholic Charities Worcester County, where she oversaw the organization’s $10M operating budget and was instrumental in upgrading many of their systems including payroll, general ledger fund accounting, fundraising and client management software. She also worked for the South Middlesex Opportunity Council as the Director of Grants and Contracts. She earned a degree in economics from Framingham State University. In her free time, Laura loves to travel and spend time with her friends, family, and her bird, who often makes cameos on team Zoom calls.
