BCF is currently unable to accept in-kind donations such as clothing, food, household goods, vehicles, medical equipment, and other materials. If you are interested in supporting our work, we invite you to learn about ways you can make a difference in Brookline through partnering with BCF.
If you have items such as those described above you would like to donate to a nonprofit organization, the following resources provide several ideas for where to donate:
- If you would like to donate items locally, consider giving directly to a nonprofit in Brookline. BCF partners with many local organizations that could benefit from your generous gift
- Brookline Moving Company has a list of local and national nonprofits that accept in-kind donations
- Mass.gov provides a comprehensive list of opportunities for donating items that are no longer needed
If you are unable to find a donation opportunity for your items and wish to dispose of them properly, please visit the Town of Brookline’s website to learn about additional recycling programs.
